While walking down Meserole, we noticed the Vintage Shaun Pop-Up shop and met shop owner / commercial fashion stylist / FIT teacher Shaunya Hartley, a Brooklyn born and raised, bad ass babe who had some unique fashion advice and great vintage to boot.

On Saturday 3/8, venture over to Daddy’s (435 Graham Avenue) for a pop-up shop curated by Debbie Tuch, creator of the jewelry line Glitterlimes. Shoppers can find artisanal goods such as Muffy Brandt printed leggings and tops, Tim Harrington (of Les Savy Fav) illustrations, Andrew Salome knits, Jena Derman ceramics, Julie Van Such digital print scarves, Junior Town Knits hand-dyed yarn straight from Los Angeles, Wowch clothing, and of course, Glitterlimes.
DJ Knife Fight will be spinning pre-Beatles rock and there will be drinks on hand.
Who wants to trek all the way to North 11th when you can just stay in Greenpoint? The owners of Beacon’s Closet seem to agree. The Williamsburg store closed officially this past Sunday, March 2, and the new Greenpoint location, at 74 Guernesey between Norman and Nassau, is set to tentatively open this Saturday, March 8th. While searching for accessories on KRRB for Greenpointers’ new office, I found this bobcat pillow. I wasn’t aware that “they” ever made bobcat pillows, but apparently “they” don’t anymore, which makes this a rare item.
The best website ever made about bobcats says that, “bobcats have five toes on the forefoot, but the fifth toe does not leave a mark in the ground because it is raised high up on the foot.”
